High-fin Banded Shark. We've recently started importing these fascinating, peaceful fish from China.

They're thought to be one of the most primitive members of the Cyprinidae family. Nothing like true sharks, these fish are voracious algae eaters, although we've seen them eat floating pellets as well.

They’re winter hardy and can reach 3 feet in length.

Snails are highly recommended for garden ponds. They're excellent algae eaters and scavengers, helping to keep ponds clean by consuming waste and uneaten food.

Plecostomus CatfishThese Plecostomus Catfish will feed on the algae on the side of your tanks or ponds. They cohabitate well with koi and goldfish but they are tropical and will need to be moved indoors for the winter.
