Koi

Koi and Butterfly Koi are our specialty. They're hatched and grown in over 100 acres of mud ponds in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina and southern VA. Continuous culling ensures that our Koi and Butterfly Koi set the standard for quality in domestically produced fish. Koi are sorted and sold in three categories.

Standard Grade.This grade will contain a good mix of colors representing most of the color varieties that we produce. Undesirables are removed.

Premium Grade. These are selected from the standard grade. Each fish will represent a good example of recognized varieties; (ie. Kohaku, Shusui, etc.) This grade of koi is a great value, rivaling many imported koi at a fraction of the cost.

Premium Select Grade. Representing the best that we have, these koi are selected from the Premium Koi and grown on for another year. These will all be at least two years old and sizes will be from 6 to 20 inches.
