If it's an appropriate fish for garden ponds, Blue Ridge has it. Albino Catfish. These are growing in popularity as something a little different than koi and goldfish for the pond. They're winter hardy and fast growing. Bullfrog Tadpoles. If you sell fish for garden ponds you should also offer tadpoles. These will grow into frogs measuring up to 10 inches in length. Order early as availability is limited by mid summer. Trapdoor Snails. Snails are highly recommended for garden ponds. They're excellent algae eaters and scavengers, helping to keep ponds clean by consuming waste and uneaten food. Feeder Goldfish. Blue Ridge is a major supplier of Feeder Goldfish to tropical fish wholesalers and petshops across the US. Rosey Red Feeders. Another feeder fish, Rosey Reds are an orange colored variation of the Tuffy Minnow. Hi-Fin Banded Shark. We've recently started importing these fascinating, peaceful fish from China. They're thought to be one of the most primitive members of the Cyprinidae family. Nothing like true sharks, these fish are voracious algae eaters, although we've seen them take floating pellets as well. They’re winter hardy and can reach 3 feet in length.
